What beans are these?

OK. So I got a box of "funky veg" seeds a couple of years ago. Now what the packet told me was red brussel sprouts actually appear to be some sort of bean/pea. They did not flower or grow last year, so as you can imagine I was a bit surprised when all these pods appeared.

I have had a couple of people tell me what they think but I'm still not sure. One said fine beans, but looking this up they have white flowers, this had yellow flowers.

Another is broadbeans, the stem and large leaves don't look like that when I look it up.

Any ideas anyone? I want to know when to harvest and also the best way to eat.

Sorry, didn't let me upload pictures from my phone. This is what they look like.

Those are the flowers and seed pods (and leaves) of a brassica ... Probably your red Brussels sprouts.
