Should these toms be flowering yet?

in Fruit & veg
Hi guys,
I grew tom tumbling toms from seed and they are about 4-5 inches high however when potting them on I noticed they have the little yellow flower coming already. Should they be doing this yet as the plants are very small?
Should I take off the flowers and let the plants grow bigger before I let it set fruit?
Thanks

No, tumbling toms do not need to be pinched or pruned. Just let them do their own thing, feed a high phosphate feed once a week.
Thanks fidgetbones,
Should I start to feed now or when the first truss starts to get tomatoes forming?

Assuming you have used commercial compost, there is some feed in the compost, but feed once the first few tomatoes are marble size.
Lovely
thank you
I started my tumblers early and they soon grow into big plants.
I've got Tumbling Tom on the left in a basket and Maskotka in the basket behind on the right.
As fb says start feeding soon as the little toms appear. They produce a huge amount of fruit.
I've since moved the TT to the middle of the gh as it's getting so big

Wow those plants are huge! Mine have got some catching up to do!
If I wanted to grow them organically would I need to buy bags of organic compost?
Well, they've had the benefit of being warmer in the g/house. It's even bigger now
Yours will soon catch up.
I'm not sure exactly what the term organic means.
I grow mine in Grow Wise mpc with added JI3. I give them a seaweed drench every couple of weeks from the seedling stage then start with tomorite weekly when the first tiny fruits form.
I've never had to spray them with insecticide or anything else.
And they taste wonderful!

Well i thought the tomorite fertilizer and the fertilizer that is already in the mpc is all made from chemicals rather than natural ingredients?
I imagine it is.
The choice is yours
From the plant's point of view Nitrogen is Nitrogen, it is exactly the same element whether it is derived from organic or inorganic sources. No matter where in the universe you look, the elements Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potassium (and all other elements) are identical.
