Glass on the grass

2 double glazed windows were left lying on the grass for a few hours and now we have 2 patches the shape of the glass that look completely burnt , as in straw coloured grass.
What should we do now, water it or will it just return to the nice shade of green it once was ?
I couldn't believe what I was seeing, never knew that could happen and so quick.

As you mow it you'll cut off the scorched grass and the green will return ... it may take a few cuts ... don't be tempted to cut it short in order to get rid of the straw look.

i'll do as you say. As much as I enjoy cutting the grass I don't usually wish it would hurry up and grow but I will now, then hopefully the scorched grass will soon disappear and return to normal .
