Can't offer an ID on the type (sorry!) but would recommend putting it in a larger pot/ container.
Begonias like free-draining soil so a larger pot with a good sized drainage hole at the bottom, loosely covered inside by broken pots, tiles or large pebbles and a decent potting compost such as John Innes No. 2 should help it along nicely. Some begonias need monthly feeding and a liquid tomato food is ideal... just don't over-do it

It's a house plant, Begonia Rex. My mum had a mania for propagating them by cutting up the leaves, then she couldn't throw any away.?
