Peas
in Fruit & veg
This year I sowed peas indoors, two varieties: petit provencal which are a short variety and desiree which are purple prodded and grow to about a meter.
All were sowed in root trainers and hardened off before planting out. I also sowed the same two varieties outside later on.
The desiree sown indoors are stronger better looking plants than the petit provencal, which are really quite pathetic. The petit provencal are sown outdoors are doing much better.
What could I have done wrong with petit provencal indoors? Or should I just accept that these are better sown outside?
