Pentaglottis sempervirens can be a difficult plant to control ; I help in a garden in the Lincolnshire Wolds that is infested with it ; very deep black roots can be hard to extract . Spraying is out of the question as the garden is very closely planted ; (a euphemism for cottage-garden)
A pity that it's so pernicious , as the flowers are such an attractive blue .
I agree Paul, the flowers of the Pentaglottis sempervirens are very attractive and do blend well with the wild radish. The nature walk opened to the public just a couple of weeks ago, and we were pleasantly surprised with what we saw there.
