Lawn feeding
Nobody seems to deal with the problem of evenly spreading granular feed and weed to a large lawn.
I use a spreader but as I am always careful not to double dose end up with many yellow lines where I have missed so I then have the tedious task of hand spreading all the yellow lines and then watering in.
On a large lawn, using a small spreader once you have completed a line it is almost impossible to see where to run the return line.
Our lawns are of an irregular shape and overall the formal garden is one and a half acres.
Any suggestions?

Hi
Tbh, I have never had a great problem using a spreader. From what you have stated you have a large lawn to treat. I would suggest only doing an small area, possibly stringing out part of your lawn so that you concentrate the feed. I have a long curved lawn that sometimes can create a problem using a spreader. I would just take your time and ensure that you don't overdose. If some of your lawn does get a little too much of feed and weed it will not kill your lawn
