Tea clipper rose issue

hi

my David Austin tea clipper roses have the following issue- what's is this? any recommendations appreciated

    Think that's probably 'balling' due to wet weather conditions ...  occurring on high-petal count roses when rain appears, disappears, and reappears. The slime on the petals acts like glue, trapping in hot humidity and the petals cannot open properly.

    All you can do is deadhead promptly to encourage more blooms.

    Same problem with my roses, thought it was a disease, good to know it's temporary.
