Hi
Can anyone please advise me on what i should or shouldnt do with my Cotinus. I have read on line and get conflicting information. Whilst i know i am to late for this year am i supposed to prune it hard or leave it? In the spring or in the Autumn? I am fairly new to gardening and need some help!

Leave it alone until early Spring and then you can cut it back hard, if you want.
You will not get flowers if you prune though.

The conflicting advice is because different people do different things
Cut back hard in spring for big leaves, leave it alone for large bush with flowers
