Can anyone advise me how to plant Acers in Pots? What compost? where to site? Drainage etc.
Why am I getting leaf damage on a five year old Acer Palmatum (Dark Red/ Brown) variety. Leaves look scorched and shrivelled. Plant is kept in a corner outside the Consevatory out of the wind and very little sun. Recently fed for the first time with Ericacous feed suitable for Rhodedendrons and Camillias does not mention Acers?
I am starting afresh with yet another Acer as I have lost two to Vine Weavil. All info most welcome.
