Couple of Chatsworth pics

Lovely day. Some teething problems as there would be on the 1st day of their 1st show but lots to see.
Sorry to hear others had a bad day.

Great pictures - thanks both for sharing - wish I could have gone despite the issues that some unfortunately had ?
I did enjoy the Chatsworth Flower Show yesterday and we actually had a sunny afternoon. We had arrived early and because we didn't follow the official RHS road signs we missed all the apparently dreadful traffic. It was such a shame that such a disastrous week for weather had blighted the previous press day, but all credit to those who had managed to keep everything rolling for the first open day. The displays inside the floral hall were beautiful and the standard of the show gardens was excellent - I just wanted more more more. Only complaint was about the mad chaos of service at the otherwise splendid restaurant- people queuing for over an hour for their pre booked and pre paid lunch. We were lucky again to get in early, but waited 40 minutes for dessert, while watching poor people waiting outside in the cold wind. BUT - The food was delicious. I do hope the bad weather and the traffic issues don't prevent this from becoming a succesfuL annual event.
