Pear fruit

I have a conference pear tree about 10 years  and has yet had no fruit.

Every year I get blossom and then the fruit sets but it rots and fall and I don't know why this happens and also how to correct the problem so that I get full pears. Any help would be great.

    I corrected that this year by adding a second pear tree. The conference is (I think) 'self fertile' in a bit of a haphazard way! The fruit drops cos it isn't really any good anyway. This year both the old tree and the new tree have a decent amount of fruit.
