Rose Identification

Hi all,

Can anyone help me narrow-down what that type of rose this might be, so that I can prune it correctly. Inherited the shrub when moved to our house, so I have no-idea what type. Flowers around May and only once a year. Very fragrant. 4 to 8 (or thereabouts) flower heads per cluster. Very small thorns on newer stems. Old stems are more bark than stem. Buds are 1cm, open flowers about 6cm diameter.
