Muhlenbergia capillaris

Ive sown some Muhlenbergia capillaris seeds and they're just starting to show. Could you run me through the stages until they're ready to plant ou. They're still in a propagater, on a sunny windowsill

Thanks

I would take them out from the proagator as soon as possible, then treat like any other plant grown from seed. Wait until they are big enough to handle, prick out and pot up individually then keep potting on until you've got a big plant, as you would buy in a garden centre. Then plant then out.

They are hardy, mine stay fine all winter.

I was researching growing ornamental grass from seed, I'm curious as to what the seedlings look like, are they like garden lawn grass? therefore transplanted in bunches, as I imaging it would be hard to get single seedlings, or are they like plant seedlings? with two leaves?  Thanks.

    These are Miscanthus Sinensis.

This one is Frosted Explosion, I've grown a few, but all the grasses are similar at the seedling stage.  Prick out and pot on each one separately. They grow into huge plants.

I've only sown a few this year as wasn't sure if last years would survive the cold winter we had, but they did, so have a few extra now.

Thank you so much for the pictures, I  will definitely attempt to grow some next year.
