Concerned about yellowing on lower leaves of tomato plants

Hi folks.

Bacm again with another questiom and looking for some advice. First time growing tomato plants. Got them in the greenhouse. They are about 10 weeks old and in the greenhouse now in final containers.

They seem to be looking fairly good but notcing some slight yellow of lower leaves and maybe blight. Really hope not though!!

Leaves are also going harder and curling upwards a little.

Ill attach some pics and hopefully someone can maybe help me out with some advice.

Thanks a lot

I wouldn't worry about that at all, Jamie. The leaves don't stay pristine throughout the growing process.  You'll find that the foliage will look pretty dire by the time the toms are finished!   image

The curling is quite normal too - they usually straighten up. Inside a greenhouse, you might get a few pests now and again, but good ventilation, and consistent care will help sort that.

    I agree with fg Jamie.
I find the lower leaves on my toms start to go yellow and/or look a bit manky after a couple of weeks planted in their final positions. Once the plants are about 3ft tall I snap off the lower 2-3 leaves of each plant. It helps with air circulation and reduces the chance of infection. But wait until your plants are growing strongly

    Thanks fairygirl and pete8.

Appreciate it. They actually dont look too bad to be honest was just concerned it might turn into something that keeps getting worse.

I did mix some well rotted but fresh cattle manure through the compost. Thought that was a good move regarding fertilization but maybe i have introduced disease there.

Thanks for the help. I do appreciate it.
