Please can anyone identify this plant for me. I think the seed must have been dropped by a bird.

I'm going to have a guess at verbascum olympicum, but I'm not sure !
Agree, it looks like a Verbascum. Maybe Thapsus.
I'd go for Verbascum thapsus but we need to see the flowers to be sure ... But it is definitely a verbascum.
