Thank you Mowbow and Fairygirl, I did not think mine were the beautiful spotted orchid but as they seemed to have the similar growing habit wondered if they were same family? Anyway will have to wait till next year as that was the last flower. Had to put on full zoom hence blurry photo. The wind we have had on the South Coast has blown the broad beans, potato plants, seed spinach, clematis and climbing roses to pieces, such a shame as all were doing so well. Had first pick of beans delicious. Not many people seem to like broad beans only 1 neighbour said yes to a bag of themimage more wind tomorrow and rainimage Kathie

Another lovely photo Fairygirl. Obviously mine is just a "baby" and I hope it will come back bigger and better next year. I hope too that kathie will be able to get to see hers more clearly then.

kathie sorry to hear about the battered veg and flowers and hope they will recover and you'll be able to harvest some more. I like broad beans but I know a lot of people who don't. Wind has dropped here and it's just stopped raining. I'll have to go out and tie up some things that have blown down. I never seem to get plants staked in time image
