What type of rose do I have
Me me and my partner have just bought a new house and I have this rose bush in the garden. I have no idea what type of rose it is so need your help. I would love to keep it as the flowers are stunning but I really need to know how to look after it.
If if anyone could help me that would be great.

I think it could be a climbing Masquerade.
If this is a climber, then it is now a case of training it to the way you want it to grow. Consider the type of support it will need. Wire training which is a fixed line to the wall/fence and you tie your plant stems on the wires as it grows, or use some kind of trellis that does the same thing.
I haven't checked whether it is a repeat variety or summer flowering one, but judging by the style of the petals, it will be a repeat flower plant. Simply deadhead or cut to above 3 or 5 leaves on the branches.
The plant looks very young so if you don't like the way it is growing now, you can simply cut it down much lower and wait for new young stems to grow and start training it again.
During the winter months, you could leave it alone. Come spring next year, cut away any stray growth or any stems you feel look weak or rub agains other branches. It should start growing again. Feed in spring time, mulch and around the base, and normally this is enough.
