Any idea what this tiny plant is called , it's growing in a walled garden between the old bricks of the walls? I managed to dig this out but it didn't have much of a root so I hope it survives. It's very pretty.
It will grow anywhere but where you want it to. I used to have a patio garden covered with shingle, and ivy-leaved toadflax loved it and spread throughout the shingle.

Ivy leaved toadflax ...... a pretty little thing happiest growing in the cracks of walls.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Thanks so much Dove ?
It's a sweet little plant , if these tiny plants take root do you think they would grow and spread in the soil or are they just for brick walls?

Yes, I agree Josusa - not a plant for beds or pots - happiest in nooks and crannies

Well I have a patio garden covered with smallish stones so maybe I'll be lucky and it will spread, that's if these little plants take. Thanks
Oh dear, maybe I should have left it to grow in the wall after all ?
It will seed about the place. I often find it in pots or cracks or corners.
