Crinkly Fuscias

Hello.

All of my fuscias are going crinkly/deformed around the new foliage growth, regardless of which part of the garden they are in.

Any ideas?

Cheers

David

I have a fuchsia in a pot, mine is the same!  Would also like to know what the problem is, can't see any insects on the leaves.  I've pinched out the new growth, as this rate I'll either have an extremely bushy plant or it will stay the same size because of the deformed new growth being picked off.  Hopefully someone will have an answer.

  • I've trimmed all of mine back today. It happened last year as well. No sign of any bugs...

Could be flea beetles. They've done for my phygelius two years running

    In London. Keen but lazy.

Probably Fuchsia Gall Mite, which are too small to be seen with the naked eye and can be a real problem:

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
