Cyclamen persicum (aka "indoor" or "florist's" cyclamen) are best kept cool and dry, B3. If you have not stopped watering yet, do so now. The leaves will turn yellow and drop off, indicating they have gone dormant (which is what you want.) They will need to be kept pretty dry while dormant as wet soil in the pot can cause the corms to rot. The slugged one will probably re-sprout as long as the slugs have not chewed off all of the knobbly bits (which is where the leaves and flowers come from) completely, but that may not be until around September if it has decided to go dormant.
I line mine up against the north-facing wall of the house, under the eaves during the summer.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
I've done that bit. They have come out of dormancy very early. I suppose they got wet in the recent downpours. I will put them back in dry shade and watch out for slugs. Thanks for advice Bob.
If they've gotten out of 'sync' and start sending up flowers, you'll just have to enjoy them! As long as they get dry, they should go dormant again though. As soon as I see growth in the autumn, I re-pot them and nearly always have a good showing of flowers for Christmas.
