Meyer Lemon Tree HELP!!

Hello Everyone!

I am in desperate need of help with my Meyer lemon tree. I bought one in early spring from a nursery and planted it in my lawn. It started blossoming and soon after began producing small green lemons, but recently I noticed the rinds of the green lemons seem to be getting eaten by something or maybe have some type of deficiency. I am not sure which one...and I've also noticed that the leaves have yellow spots with small brown spots inside. Although I have tried inquiring at garden centers regarding these issues none seem to know what is the cause. Now my lemon tree seems to have lost a lot of its leaves. Here are some pics below. If anyone could offer advise I'd greatly appreciate it.

    I would keep it in a large pot of ericaceous compost or specialised citrus compost. You cannot keep it outside  in winter . (  I am assuming you are in UK).  That looks like snail damage.  Keeping it in a large clay pot would help prevent that.
