Campanula - What type is it?

Please can anyone identify this Campanula?

It was in the garden when I moved in years ago. The flowers are pretty but it is such a thug and spreads over most of the bottom of my garden.

What is the best way to contain it. I am forever pulling it out as it tangles itself around the roots of my shrubs.

Any advice is appreciated.

In my old garden, I had it in two very dry hot spots, one was a wall and the other by a path under a conifer. they didn't spread much. Only a little pulling out!

Pull all the dead flower stems off to prevent it seeding around.
