Before I dig this up, could anyone advise if this is a geranium or creeping buttercup please? image

    Hello im sure thats buttercup id get it up asap before those dreaded underground roots start their havoc ?

    the leaves are similar but the stems and manner of growth are different. Can we have a look underneath?

    Thanks Lyn. We moved here last summer and I can't remember if there was a geranium there. They did have a few, I'm just not sure if this was one of them image

    Butter cups grow from a central spot, this seems to be shooting out from different places.

    Thanks all, I've got a pretty pink geranium in mind for that spot so I'll dig it out sharpish image

    Yep buttercup I think too, creeping white rhizomes when you dig it out will confirm.

     Hope you kept it, mine's  just started to flower.
