I bought a pink geranium, the perennial sort, in a charity plant sale today, but it's very leggy and the flowers are fading. Can I cut it back to half its size now? Will it flower again this year?
Most geranium Cranesbill will be fine, just snip them down and water them up and they should start growing straight away. At this time of year, they can get quite leggy and start flopping everywhere. The flowers are a nice bonus, but I much rather fresh looking leaves that act as a nice back-drop for other plants whther in a pot or border. Many will flower again.

Thank you for your advice. Will do what you suggest.
