Top of half grown tomato plant snapped off - now what?

last night some wind toppled over my tomato plant and as I tried to tie it back in I accidentally snapped off the tip.  The plant was probably only 1-2 ft high so still has lots of growing to do.

What should I do?  Will it continue to grow via a side shoot?  Or is it permanently dwarfed?  As I only have one of this variety (due to space) I wonder if I should replace it?

thanks!
