Could anyone tell me what this is? I've been offered a few but I'm a little worried they might be invasive. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Martagon lilies?

Never heard of them being invasive.

Grab their hands off! They are Lilium pyrenaicum, practically unobtainable at present and retailing at about £6 a bulb!

They are easy to grow. A garden near me has them multiplying happily in grass, but unlike many lilies their scent is not particularly pleasant, so think of that when choosing a site for them.
