Frangipani toadstools

Greetings all,
I don't know if this is a common problem, based on my research it does not seem to be. Our 2 year old frangipani has sprouted what appear to be yellow toadstools in the dirt at the base of the plant.
Otherwise the plant is in great health and is growing vigorously -- no signs of rust on the leaves. Has anyone come across this? any advice?
