Leaking Wooden Bird Bath

I have a Leaking Wooden Bird Bath which has developed a split about 1/4 " wide and some 2 " long and the water is leaking out
? Any suggestions as to what I can use to cure this
Everyone is just trying to be Happy.....So lets help Them.

If that link works, it should take you to pinterest. There are pics of coloured resin used in wood, some of them are beautiful. Would probably work on your bird bath
