Sun-damaged Yucca

I have had my Yucca as an indoor plant for almost 10 years now. It has survived three house moves and is like an old friend to me. It needed re-potting recently, so I took it outside to do so - it's a large plant! I then decided to leave it outside in a sheltered position but in full sun for the summer - I have never done this before but thought the plant would benefit from it.
However, the next day I noticed the leaves looked extremely pale and almost paper-like. I brought the plant into the house immediately but the sun has been very hot recently and I guess it must have been too strong and caused sudden plant shock. Some of the lower leaves are still green and thick but most look beyond help. Is there anything at all I can do?

  • Thanks for coming back to me, That's a shame (and pretty much as I feared) but at least there's a chance I can save some of it, I suppose.Would I just cut it off at the point above the remaining green leaves?
