uploading photos

What am I doing wrong?

I click on the camera icon up pops my "pictures" file and I dbl click on the photo I want but nothing registers on the "start a new thread" dialogue box.

Help pls

    You need to use a photo editor to 'compress' the picture so the file is ideally less than 1Mb

  • Thanks Raisin, but I am sure I used to just dbl click and the attached themselves but now nothing. I cannot think what I am doing differently?

    I have the same problem Willinglearner, I managed to upload a couple but when I tried again on a different post, like you, nothing happens image.  I don't know how to photo edit either, so will watch this thread for help image

    If you google "resize image" you will get several options for reducing the size of photos to make them easier to show on here or send by email..

    Nora is a moderator on here and helps with technical issues.

    Depending on the facility you have on your laptop.phone etc,  if you right click on your pictures, you often have a resizing option. image

    It can be a bit hit and miss sometimes so I redo all mine to below 2.5 MB as they load quicker that way. Most of mine are over 5MB to start with.

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
