Harvested potatoes too early?? Can I replant?

This is my first attempt at growing potatoes. I may have harvested them too early. I did get some decent sized ones but most were really small however the root system at the bottom of the plant still has teeny tiny potatoes stuck to them. Can I replant those and will they grow?

I have no idea but go ahead and try it and report back. What have you got to lose?
Highly unlikely they'll do anything. You'd be far better off planting new ones for a late crop, at least then you won't be so tempted to dig them up and find out if anything is happening.
Some say dig them up when the flowers pass, but I tend to leave them until the foliage starts to die back and go a bit yellow.
I work on the principle, they might continue to grow in the ground, but not once I've lifted them.
