Photinia dying leaves
We have just returned from holiday to find one of our photinia appears to be dying. The leaves are curled up and drooping - see pictures. There is another photinia adjacent to it which appears fine and the plant has had lots of new growth this year and we had a mild winter. The plants are mature AFAIK, they were well established when we moved here 3 years ago.
Anu suggestions what may have gone wrong? And any advice on how/if it can be saved?
(not sure why main picture is appearing upside down)

Quite a lot of shrubs have been lost over the last year due to drought, is that a possibility?

It could be. May has been a dry month with lower than average rainfall. Seems strange that the photinia next to it is fine...
