Hello another plant needing ID again. Its not marigold is it? The leaves seemed wrong.
Looks like a pot marigold to me.
Pot marigold, the Calendula type. Used as a herb, not related to african or french marigolds which are tagetes.
The petals are edible if you fancy sprinkling a few in a salad to jazz it up a bit.
ok that was my mistake. Googled marigold and showed me the tagetes one. Thanks everyone.
