Not sure about 1 but the rest are various sorts of poppy.

Thanks all! Last one is in front of house flower bed - didn't sow nigella or cali poppies there so not sure how it got there. This year have sowed nigella at back garden but no signs there. Cal poppies were sown last year also at back, only one came up so not sure how this has come to front. No one else on our road has any front gardens!

Oh brilliant, I definitely sowed some oriental poppies - I can't believe only 1 has come up :-(

Welsh poppies - aren't those the yellow invasive ones? those are all over the garden but the leaves look differet to 3. Could be an opium poppy then?

    Poppies galore!

Is it better to sow poppy seeds in trays - would more have germinated do you think if I hadn't just spread them in the flower bed?

Most poppies don't transplant well so sowing in a seed tray won't generally work very well as the seedlings die when pricked out.  The exception are oriental poppies which can be a bit reluctant from direct sowing.  I started mine off in pots, thinned the seedlings in the pot and then grew them on finally planting the whole pot out.  Once they get going in the soil they are pretty indestuctible though!
