How strong are slalix flamingo?

MrsGardenMrsGarden Posts: 3,951

Ive just moved my Salic flamingo (as a standard so on a graft).

I chopped off a main root thinking it was from an old tree!

Can anyone let me know how tough they are and is it likely to survive?

Thanks.

It's a willow ...... and the rootstock is probably pretty robust .......... keep it watered throughout the summer and it stands a good chance.
