Clay soil

Id love some suggestions for plants to grow in clay soil please for a south facing bed

    Roses, geraniums, geums, peonies, amelanchiers, crab apples, crocosmia, euphorbia.

    Verbena bonarensis,cosmos,pansies, alliums, Californian poppy,,euphorbia ,centauria, buddleia, lilac, grasses,clematis. In fact you can grow pretty much anything that likes the sun - but don't bother with heather or rhododendrons.

    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • Euphorbias for a bit of drama, campanulas, bears breeches....and most of the garden geraniums (cranesbills)
