Please could you help me identify these?

I have a large garden to clear.

Before starting, I am trying to identify the plants.

The spiky leave type bushes have thick bark like stems and are several feet tall. Thank you

    I think it is sumac . Good autumn colour and distinctive flower spikes. They tend to send out suckers but I think they are an attractive plant to have in the garden.
