1st is a currant - not sure if it's a blackcurrant or redcurrant (prob blackcurrant though)

    2nd is Japanese anemone

     Brilliant! Thank you very much.

Do you know if the blackcurrants are toxic to dogs? I can't find a definitive answer on it.

I don't know. I have recently planted 5 blackcurrant bushes, and I have a dog. I imagine they're way too acidic for a dog to want to eat more than 1 and I have no concerns.
Runner beans on the other hand seem disappear from the lower 3ft of plants and often tell-tale signs of beans around her mouth image
