    Lovely photos Liri.

I thought the gardens for the five senses were excellent.

    Thanks Joyce.  image

Yes, I was impressed by the "5 senses" gardens.  Plenty to like and nicely unpretentious.

Stunning colours and clever groupings , and those cupcakes were the biggest I have ever seen Liri.  Lovely pictures, thank you for sharing with those of us unable to get to Chelsea.

Thaks folks.. Truly great photos.  Now back to the Chelsea Flower Show.  I feel akin to Victoria Sponge.  This is called a flower show.  Forgive me please.  These various set gardens.  Surely unless i have missed a beat.  PLANTS, you know, those thingies that grow and flower.    Sorry to be a dimwit but, but.  Honestly what has a concrete block got to offer. Imagine a show judge.  Well yes, each block is solid, I'd go as far as tos ay, each one is identical, just like they were cast out of the same mould.  The texture of the foliage, (what foliage).  The colouration scent etc. Yes you have it.  Time IMHO for the RHS, as a registered CHARITY to extract itself fromnBIG business and return to gardening.  OK perhaps it's time to seperate hard landscaping and garden design ans get RHS members bac to...gardening.

Mike ... this is the Chelsea photo thread ........ we've been discussing the ethos behind the show here
