    Looks like a Hellebore. Foetidus I think.

    That's a clematis in weedy's pic.  

    What's going on? Is this a late night test? image

    Me  being silly. It is my new version of  Corylus avellana 'Contorta'  but not enough of the hazel leaves were visible to see the structure. It is the first time the clematis has made it  up to the light through the Corylus in years . 

    No more silly photos then. That went down like a lead balloon. image
