I noticed when I went to pick my raspberries that the leaves of some plants had been completely stripped.  It looks exactly like the leaves on my rose bush that got stripped last year.  That was down to rose sawfly, and I squashed at the caterpillars and that seemed to do the trick.

I can't actually see anything on the raspberry leaves, does anyone know if we have raspberry sawfly in this country?

    Haven't come across this before, but it must be some kind of moth i think.

    There certainly is a raspberry sawfly & it's probably causing your problem.
