Rogue Rose

I have a  Stromboli rose and growing from it is what seems like a completely wild rose as well as the stromboli bloom how can this be,thank you

    The rose will have been grafted and what you are seeing is growth from the original root stock.

    Shoots that grow from the rootstock of a grafted plant are called suckers.

    They should be removed - dig down a little to find from where exactly the sucker originates and pull it away from here.

    Don't just trim it down to the ground or it will simply regrow.
