Lawns, paths and weeds!!

So I recently moved to a new house with lawns front and back plus nice paving but oh my goodness the weeds!
I've tried lawn feed with added weed killing and spray for the paths but with little result plus I have two cats so don't want to hurt them.
Any tips please?

If you could post some pics of the weeds in lawns and paths it would be very useful to help identify the troublesome weeds and the best course of action.
For the paths use Pathclear. You should only need to use it twice a year. For the lawns, any good lawn weed and feed should do the job but don't forget to water it in.
