this is growing behind a tree in my garden stem is hairy and light green it's about a metre tall the picture is about 12 inch across it's a single plant multi steamed help please

hogweed. I'd zap it with glyphosate. Whatever you do, don't let it seed.
Yes, but it looks like it's Common hogweed, not the poisonous Giant Hogweed so no need to panic.
