    Escallonia perhaps.  Does it flower?

    It looks similar to something that pops up in my garden that grows to about 6ft and has pink flowers, a bit like a mini buddelia. I can't recall the name I'm afraid

    Possibly a Snowberry, but the leaves don't look quite right for that
