    It certainly can.   I was looking forward to growing a liquidambar in this new garden but they're all over certain roadside and roundabout plantings in La Roche-sur-Yon so I'm having a re-think.

    I like my daffs small in general and multi-headed tho I love taller white and creamy ones and poeticus types.  No doubles and certainly no pink.   Daffs are also poisonous but it seems an extract from their bulbs is likely to be good for treating Alzheimers and they're already used by herbalists for epilepsy.
