Plants struggling

satrdayboysatrdayboy Posts: 56

I bought and planted 3 perennials last year In a newly planted raised bed, I think they are a type of Rudbekia. This year the the 3 plants are really struggling to get going. If I touch the leaves they just break off. Any suggestions imageimage

They are Heleniums, slugs and snails love their new growth. Nematodes or organic slug pellets should help.

Thanks Buttercupdays, yes you're right they are Heleniums, when I was looking at other plants I came across them, they have seen some slug damage so will try some pellets.
