Hostafan1- its been like that for ages. Its no bother. My birds like to wander around the room and I foster a few small baby birds so they just do what they like. Thats what the white spots are. Dried bird poo lol

The first looks like an ornamental grass of sort, perhaps millet? The second is coleus, I think.

No 1 looks like Thalia dealbata, but 2 leaves isn't much to go on, so it might well be something else.
No 2 isn't coleus, sorry.
Not a weak little amaranthus is it?
I thought thalia, but then thought it looked too fine a leaf stalk so I went for a grass type.

I think No 1 needs to grow a fair bit more for a proper ID, IMHO.
Can I just say, I'd have serious concerns about the safety of that electric wiring behind No 1.
