We are in a new build with the retaining wall with fence on top combo to the back and left. About 14 foot hight but about 30 foot in length. We built large retaining beds and have planted Himalayan birch as it is airy and a selection of climbers.

At the back is honeysuckle hallia,  clematis armandii and pyracantha for the birds. To the left an Ameleichier and the Chinese creeper that looks like Boston ivy and a sulphur heart ivy. These two are self clinging and I wish I just put them at the back too as the wires are a pain.

Then lots of shrubs from super markets etc.

We have a wooden play house that is never used but it is painted cream and blue and has a small clematis climbing on it.

My plants and trees were planted last summer and are taking their time. I just want the walls covered!

Wow....I am overwhelmed by the suggestiona and advice. Thank you everyone for all your suggestions and advic. I really appreciate it ? I I can see that most people here have a lot of experience so I really am grateful. Your pictures are beautiful, beautiful mature, well loved gardens...

Yes the house to the left is higher up, the area to the left it the shed is quits damp but... is drying out with the finer weather.
